  • The timeframe for ordering a bridal gown is approximately 20 weeks.

    We recommend budgeting an additional six weeks for alterations. Our dresses are made to standard sizes, not custom measurements, so some tailoring is expected to achieve the perfect fit (which can be done in-store).

    For bridesmaid dresses, the ordering timeframe is approximately 16 weeks.

    We also recommend allowing an additional four weeks for alterations.

  • Yes. We have matching accessories that the entire wedding party can wear.

  • Yes. We carry veils, jewelry, and headpieces to accompany the dresses.

    However, we DO NOT carry shoes.

    Treat's Bridal Shoppe is in the same building as Treat's Squire Shop, located upstairs.

  • Yes. Both of our front two entrances are stairs-free and wheelchair accessible.

Appointments & Scheduling

  • Yes. If you plan to buy a dress or be fitted that day, an appointment is necessary.

    Appointment times may be requested for any time, but may have to be adjusted based on our availability.

    We recommend allowing more time than you may expect, as selecting dresses, fittings, and other services often involve multiple steps that may require additional time.

    To ensure a comfortable and personalized experience, we recommend bringing no more than 4 guests with you to your appointment.

Accessibility

  • Yes. Both front entrances are stair-free and completely wheelchair accessible.

  • Yes. We have multiple accessible fitting rooms on the ground floor, each equipped with a bench for seating. We also have an accessible restroom that accommodates most manual wheelchairs.

    Please note that it may have limited accessibility for larger mobility devices.

  • Yes. We can accommodate customers with accessibility needs by bringing gowns and other merchandise to the ground floor for them to browse and try on.

General, Policies, & Payment

  • We offer a layaway option with a 50% down payment of the total purchase price.

    The balance must be paid in full before the item can be taken home.

    All purchases are final, non-refundable, and sold as seen in-store.

  • Due to the nature of the business, all decisions must be made in advance. Once the order is placed, we cannot make any changes.

Alterations

  • Yes. We offer in-store alterations on dresses bought at Treat’s and other stores, whether you’d like in-store alterations for a bridal dress, a bridesmaid dress, or a special-occasion dress.

    Apparel to be altered is only handled by Treat’s affiliated staff.

  • After you have purchased and received the dress, we recommend 

    Brides: 6 weeks

    Bridesmaids: 4 weeks

  • Alteration pricing can vary greatly on a multitude of factors.

    Some of the most influential factors on pricing are:

    • The size and number of layers that must be hemmed.

    • The number of bustle points needed

    • The number of additions to the dress, like scoups, sleeves, etc.

  • Yes, we may be able to make small adjustments to accommodate weight changes.
