Welcome to Treat’s

Two Shops, One Family, Six Decades of Trust

Treat's Squire Shop opened its doors in 1966, when Budd Treat came home to Plymouth determined to build a business on quality clothing and the kind of service you only get from people who know your name. For nearly three decades, that's all Treat's was — a men's store, and a good one.

Then, in 1993, the Treat family brought bridal into the fold, opening what would become Treat's Bridal Shoppe. A few years later, in 1997, the bridal shop moved upstairs — literally above the menswear store — where it's remained ever since. Today, an entire wedding party can outfit themselves under one roof: the bride and her maids upstairs, the groom and his groomsmen below.

Budd's son, Gary Treat, now carries the family's approach forward across both stores. The same values that built Treat's Squire Shop — quality, patience, and treating every customer like family — are what guide Treat's Bridal Shoppe today. Nearly thirty years in, we're still a second-floor shop in a small Indiana town, and we still believe that's exactly the right size to give every bride our full attention.
